Antique Shakudo style Japanese reversible black and gilded engraved collier featuring circular scallop edged panels joined by two rows of articulated oval links with individual Japanese engraved motifs to the reverse while the fronts feature individual Japanese scenes upon a black background with a further four panels suspended from the front with the central larger lower plaque depicting a Japanese village. The necklace is fastened with a concealed box clasp and has been tested as yellow gilded metal.
