An Early Twentieth Century ruby and diamond flower pendant/brooch

A very beautiful flower pendant with a later custom made bail of gold, platinum and diamond also has an interchangeable brooch fitting which is featured on the BROOCH section of the website. The flower is finely and unobtrusively set with a solitaire transition cut diamond (est. wt.  .70 ct.) to the centre and encrusted with old cut rubies (est. wt. 4.45 ct.) edged with a border of old cut diamonds.

Flower jewellery is a genre much loved through the ages. This pendant/brooch is a very fine example.
