Art Deco emerald and 18ct gold drop earrings of stylised Eiffel Tower design, banded to the centres in polished ridges and set in millegrain edged bezel mounts with 2 approximately 4.5 mm in diameter carre cut emeralds , total estimated weight .85 ct., bright and clean with later post and butterfly fittings.

Emeralds were the most quintessential Art Deco gem worn by women of substance, sophistication and style.

Emeralds are assessed with the unaided eye, whereas diamonds are assessed by a 10x loupe. Most emeralds are included so eye clean emeralds are rare, desirable and more valuable.
