Earrings

Fuchsias were a very fashionable flower of the time, cultivated in hot houses to bloom in Victorian conservatories and mansions– and on women’s ears and neck. Novelty earrings were so popular at the time - some beautiful, whimsical, amusing and to our modern eyes some just ridiculous. Then as now they were regarded as a more casual jewels to be worn light heartedly.
