A small navette shaped Edwardian brooch of lustrous white enamel , featuring a 14 carat yellow gold navette shaped inset set with nine pearls graduating to both ends from the centre in a mount of yellow gold.

Tiny brooches, known as “lace pins” were popular in Edwardian times where they were pinned in profusion in an often random variety of designs, particularly on women’s lace collars. Today they are more often pinned singly in unconventional spots for impact.
