Bracelets

Late nineteenth century Renaissance Revival European silver opening oval bangle, diameter 6 x 5 cm weighing 38.7 grams. Both halves feature pierced motifs of a ferocious mask flanked by Cupids fighting chimeras - Greek mythological fire breathing creatures combining the body and head of a lion and goat, dragon’s wings and serpent’s tail and head with additional serpent creatures writhing and fighting at the ends amongst foliage and scrolls.
